[Letter] 1854 Sept. 19, Lawrence, Mass. : [to] Laurella / [from] Marcella Snow.

The letter, headed Dear Sister Laurella, is mainly about family matters but also describes the Pacific Mills Relief Society, to which those who work in the Pacific Mills pay a few cents a week so that if sick they can draw from the fund and also have a visit from a physician. Mrs. Snow also mentions her husband Charles, apparently a physician, and tells of his working hours and the money he makes.
